PlaidSong have set a new date for their evening at the Royal Scots Club in Edinburgh - we will be presenting

 'Songs of the Scottish Soldier Across 7 Centuries'

The evening will be an illustrated celebration in song. First performed for the Black Watch Museum at Balhousie Castle, Perth in 2019, our songs are based on the importance of music and songs in the everyday life of Scots soldiers. From songs about recruiting, music which sets out a soldier's day and songs which tell the tales of their battles and lives, this session takes you through 7 centuries of Scots songs in the military.
